About Grandmaster Ngu





Grandmaster Augustin Ngu specializes in Shaolin White Crane Kung Fu, Wing Chun Kung Fu, and Northern Shaolin Kung Fu. At a young age, he studied White Crane kung fu under Grandmaster Lee Kiang-Kai in Malaysia. Sifu Ngu introduced
White Crane kung fu to Canada when he arrived here to attend Concordia University. With over 50 years of
experience, he is the highest ranking Shaolin White Crane Kung Fu master in Canada. Sifu Ngu studied
Wing Chun Kung Fu under Master Sunny Tang. His Northern Shaolin training has been with two renowned
masters from China, Master Xu Gong-Wei, and Master Niu Wei-Lu.

Grandmaster Ngu has founded the White Crane Kung Fu society of Canada, Concordia University Kung Fu Club, All Masters Martial Arts Centre, Canadian National School of Wushu-Kung Fu, and Toronto International Buddhist Temple Kung Fu Club. Aside from traditional kung fu and oriental herbalism, Sifu Ngu also teaches the art of Lion and Dragon Dance, and is very active in the community. In recognition of his contributions, he has received the 5 Year and 10 Year Volunteer Service award from the Ministry of Citizenship for his unceasing fundraising efforts and community service. In 2018, Grandmaster Ngu was awarded his 10th degree certification by the World Kuoshu/Kung Fu Federation.

Many of Grandmaster Ngu’s students have accomplished outstanding results in national, as well as international competitions. He has two Disciples, Sifu Robert Gould and Sifu Robert Moxam, both of which have their own kung fu schools. Grandmaster Ngu is a renowned Certified International San Shou judge, and was an Assistant San Shou Head Judge in the 2002 World Wushu Championships. Sifu Ngu is also currently the President of the Canadian International
Wushu Kung Fu Federation, Chairman of the Traditional Wushu Federation of Canada, and
Secretary General of the Confederation of Canadian Wushu Organizations.
